2026 Falcon Fundraisers
The Kārearea Falcon Trust is excited to announce a partnership with Metalworks Wanaka which has resulted in not one but two fundraising events for 2026!
Steve, Jennifer and the team at Metal Works Wanaka have a deep respect and love for NZ falcons which are the inspiration for their Falcon Collection, all created in support of the Kārearea Falcon Trust.
Gala Dinner
Friday 27th March, 6pm
Oak & Ivy, 42 Alfred Street, Blenheim
The delicious menu created by Ed features NZ King Salmon, Meaters of Marlborough chirizo, and a pairing with Cardrona Distillery’s “The Falcon”. It includes canapes upon arrival, a plated entree, a mid course, alternate drop on mains and a plated dessert.
You will be entertained by Chris Smithers on piano and Terry Williams as MC, along with short presentations from both Metalworks Wanaka and the Kārearea Falcon Trust.

An additional event of the night is the auction of a degustation dinner for 8 or a hunt with Avon Valley Safaris.
Each ticket holder will receive a Goodie Bag featuring items from Indigo Wise, Ellen Giggenbach, Eco Store, …………………..and the Kārearea Falcon Trust.

Art Auction
Saturday 28th March, 4pm
Wine & Food Experience, 42 Alfred Street, Blenheim
David Searles from Harcourts will be auctioning off several sculptures of various sizes carefully crafted by the skilled team of Metalworks Wanaka.
An auction catalogue will be available closer to the time.
Silent bidding will be available.
Sculptures can be viewed in person prior to the auction with timing of this to be confirmed.
