Napoleon
MALE | Arrived December 2009
-
Napoleon arrived in 2009 making him our oldest resident.
He was found in Doughboy Road, Murchison Valley, at 15 days old with a stick in his eye.
Unfortunately we were unable to save his eye, but after some recovery he joined our breeding program.
Napoleon fathered his first chicks in 2012 with mate Sara. Together they have raised 16 chicks. All of their chicks have been released to the wild helping to support and increase kārearea populations.
Napoleon was named by one of our Falcons for Grapes program volunteer: Xavier Birch.
