Kārearea adoptions are a special way to support the restoration of New Zealand’s incredible kārearea. Your donation helps support the daily care of our resident falcons and ultimately contributes towards the conservation of this threatened and endemic species.
Adoptions are for a 12-month period, with proceeds helping fund the care and conservation of our falcons, including food, veterinary care, breeding programmes and enclosure maintenance.
Renewal emails will be sent automatically, giving you ‘first dibs’ to keep your adopted falcon under your wing. Renewals focus on continuing your support through a donation towards the care of our falcons and the mahi we do. Standard renewals are digital packs sent by email, while 3, 5 and 10-year milestone renewals include special recognition and gifts posted directly to you.
